'Sofia' is the top baby name in 9 countries. It is also among the 25 top baby names. In fact it is currently the Third most popular name in The USA. Though the name does have some innate factors that makes it a good candidate for international popularity.


I personally like the name Sofia, Its a beautiful name. So i pretty much understand why it would be very popular. I honestly like it. I want to name my child Sofia, I have some cousins & friends with that name.
